  • Welcome! My name is Liz, and I am the owner of Endeavor Counseling, LLC. I am inspired by the body’s wisdom for healing, and believe that by bringing attention to our physiology we can unlock pathways to emotional and psychological healing.

    My Approach

I aim to help people discover the unique rhythms and responses of their nervous system that support and move them towards long lasting changes and resilience. Using somatic/body-centered approaches, I help others discover, create, and live a meaningful life aligned with what matters most to them.

In our sessions, you'll experience a collaborative, compassionate, and supportive environment where you can explore challenges and curiosities at a pace that is mindful of your nervous system. Through body awareness techniques, we’ll work together to identify and shift patterns, release tension and cultivate more space for desired emotional experiences, develop self-regulation skills, and foster a deeper connection to your body.

I believe that counseling is a collaborative partnership where each individual has the potential to create personal change and feel empowered to handle challenging situations with support and curiosity.

  • I work with adults ages 19+ who are ready to learn and experience a deeper connection the body. I enjoy helping others discover their unique rhythms and resources that allows us to access nervous system regulation. Trauma is not an event, but a response of the nervous system. I hope that I may help others experience relief from unrelenting cycles of emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship stress, and burnout. I offer individual and telehealth sessions using primarily somatic approaches integrated with CBT and mindfulness techniques.

I have extensive training and experience providing individual and group counseling in intensive outpatient settings working with addiction, mood disorders, and trauma.

  • Empathy is one of our greatest tools to help others through their struggles, and I believe that in counseling it is vital to show clients that they are understood and not alone in what they are going through. I see counseling as not only an opportunity to learn how to better oneself, but also a place where you can unload your burdens and feel heard.

I am passionate about helping clients learn new ways to approach their problems and understand where they come from in the first place. It is important to come into counseling with an open mind and a willingness to try new ways to problem solve. If the things we are already doing were working for us, then we wouldn't feel a need for change right?

  • I am trained in and have experience working with clients struggling with addiction, anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. I practice ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) which takes a different route than other types of therapy to help clients learn what causes their struggles and how they can better deal with adversity. I use it to help clients learn to accept the things in their life that they cannot control and to focus on actually living their lives instead of letting their thoughts live it for them. I also employ techniques and strategies from CBT and DBT with clients that require a different approach to their mental health.

I generally work with clients 16+, and offer both in person and telehealth sessions. I have also worked with many clients struggling with ADHD (something I am diagnosed with myself) and adults with Autism, to help them learn more about their disorder and how to adapt to them so they can live a fulfilling life. From my background working with substance abuse I also have agood deal of experience helping clients navigate other issues that can impact mental healthsuch as career satisfaction, budgeting, and physical health.
